1. EQ: What is the most important element to a successful E-commerce website for small business management?
Answers: I studied advertising to a target audience, designing a intuitive UI and social media tie-ins
BA: Designing an intuitive UI for a pleasant and streamline experience because if a user gets to the website from an advertisment and can not figure out how use it, will leave due to frustation. Also if the UI is good enough then user would spread the word without the help of social media tie-ins.
2.
3. Watching the time tick by as my work sat unfinished. I tried to make plans to complete my work by a certain time and took fourth block to do work (admittedly my by force then by choice, but it helped).
I also had trouble with finding an experiment to do. The resolution for that was simple receive feedback from friends and teachers.
4. My two most important sources were Web Design Tuts Plus as a whole because it was just such a good community that shared their knowledge with pictures and examples, they were thorough. Jim Skaggs was also an important source because that was the focus of a good portion of his information and it also reinforced my already collected data.
5. This project actually improved my skills a designer because many of my sources had a topics around design, for example Thomas Cannon's article on color theory or Curt Ziegler's article on having a minimalist design.
